Target 60
Our new programme, Target 60, aims to give young people the opportunity to achieve their 60 active minutes every day, as per the Chief Medical Officer's (CMO's) recommendations. Schools can access Target 60 programmes in 3 different ways:
Target 60 Festivals
Target 60 Festivals focus on key fundamental movement skills. There are two festivals this year:
KS1 Festival on 11th November @ Aston Manor Academy, 1 - 2.30pm
KS2 Winter Festival Target 60 Festival on 9th December @ Aston Manor Academy, 1 - 2.30pm

Target 60 Virtual Competition
Book your free Target 60 virtual event with us now! We will visit your school and deliver a virtual event for your Year 3+4 pupils.
Every pupil will get the chance to earn bronze, silver and gold stickers which relate to how active they are! Your school will also be entered into our Target 60 League to see which school is the most active over the term!
Your most active pupil will also earn themselves an exclusive Target 60 T-shirt!
Targeted 6-Week Target 60 Programme
For this first time, KESSP is looking to work with a select number of schools to deliver our 6-week Target 60 programme.
This programme will aim to work on key fundamental skills and develop the four main pillars of physical literacy; MOVE, THINK, FEEL and CONNECT.
