Our fist School Games event of 2020 took place on 15th January with the year 5/6 basketball competition.  With some exceptional teams, this was always going to be a competitive event.  Teams played in two pools and the top team from each pool made it to the final.  Our winning teams were Paget and Sacred Heart.  The final was a very close match and the teams were tied at 4-4 after normal time.  The game went into overtime and both sides had chances to score the winning basket.  However, it was Paget who scored first with a fantastic golden goal to send them through to the county finals.  Congratulations to all the pupils who took part and many thanks to Broadway Academy for hosting the event.
