Steps to Success
KESSP is working in collaboration with Central Sports Partnership and Sport Birmingham on the Steps to Success Project for young people in primary school in Key Stage 1-2. The Steps to Success programme is also being endorsed by England Netballer, Layla Guscoth.
The aim of the project is to help to build physical, social and emotional skills in young people through a family engagement programme.
The project offers 3 tiers of engagement:
1. A 6 week resource for schools to send home to families to build physical, social and emotional skills in young people that may have been lost during lock down and beyond.
2. In school training for young people to become Wellbeing Ambassadors within their own school.
3. Invitation to a Wellbeing Ambassador day with other ambassadors from both partnerships.
Details will be sent to all partnership schools via email and our twitter page. If you have any questions or want more details, please feel free to contact us:
